'The Primary Care Trust have allocated to the Community Activities Network £50,000 for physical activity within Hartlepool. Applications are open to anyone who feels they have a project which will address any gap in existing sport and physical activity provision.
The network would encourage that any projects are in line with the CAN action plan and show sustainability once funding has completed. The deadline for all applications is the 22nd August 2008 at 4pm for decision to be made at the next steering group meeting on the 18th September.
All applications need to be discussed with the physical activity theme lead before being emailed to Maxine Glew. Successful applicants will be expected to complete monitoring and evaluation reports which will be discussed following decision of the CAN group.'
