VISITORS to Hartlepool Civic Centre and the adjoining Law Courts are advised that essential repair work will start shortly at the front entrance to the building. From next week (w/c 6th February)

Non-listed buildings
Planning permission is not generally required for gates, walls and fences within the garden area surrounding a dwelling, provided it does not exceed a height of:

1 metres when adjacent to a highway
2 metres in any other case
