Domestic Violence: Outline

To report an incident of domestic abuse contact the Police on 999.

Breaking away from an abusive relationship can be easier said than done, especially when children are involved.  The prospect of leaving an abusive relationship can be as frightening as the prospect of staying. Formerly known as North Tees Women's Aid, Harbour has worked for over 30 years, supporting victims of domestic abuse through dedicated holistic services.

It operates across Hartlepool, the Tees Valley, Durham and North Tyneside, offering refuge services, adults and children's outreach services, a counselling programme and a perpetrator programme.
