Licence - Caravan Site: Outline
The Caravan & Control of Development Act 1960 prohibits the use of land as a caravan site unless the occupier holds a Site Licence issued by the local authority (with some exceptions).
Hartlepool Borough Council processes applications for licences for caravan sites or mobile home parks and inspects sites to ensure that all required legislation and good practice is adhered to.
