Hartlepool Borough Council issues Parking Permits for use within controlled residential parking zones.
Residents living in properties within the controlled zones can apply for a permit to park any vehicle, either registered to them or used by them as part of their work. In addition, permits can be issued to residents' visitors and "open permits" can be issued to essential service users that can demonstrate a proven need to visit households on a regular basis.
Resident and visitor permits currently cost either £5 or £20, depending on the zone.
