Recycling - Composters: Outline
The WRAP Home Compost Scheme has been introduced to encourage residents to compost all their garden and kitchen waste at home. By transforming this good waste into compost residents are able to improve the health of their plants and flowers and reduce the amount of rubbish that is being put out for collection.
Hartlepool Borough Council offers householders subsidised home composting bins and composting accessories for sale at www.hartlepool.getcomposting.com
If you currently home compost and have a question please contact the Recycle Now home compost helpline on 0844 571 4444.
Alternatively visit www.recyclenow.com/home_composting or our Composting pages.
