Hartlepool Borough Council has no direct influence over 'fair rents'. The Local Housing Association provides a calculator for what could be a fair rent
Around 90% of The Rent Service's work focuses on providing rental determinations for Housing Benefit purposes.
These include determining a range of rental determinations such as: Local Reference Rents, Single Room Rents, Local Housing Allowances in support of the Housing Benefit, Reform Pathfinder Schemes.
In addition The Rent Service: Provide Fair Rent valuations for landlords and tenants. Provide advice to customers and stakeholders within the public and private sectors.
