Houses with 3 or more storeys occupied by 5 or more people living in 2 or more separate households must be licensed by the Council. The Private Sector Housing Team will carry out inspections of Houses in Multiple Occupation to ensure that they have adequate facilities, means of escape in case of fire and are properly managed.
