A to Z of services: Victim Support

Victim Support: Outline

We are the national charity giving free and confidential help to victims of crime, witnesses, their family and friends.

Our services are available to everyone, whether or not the crime has been reported and regardless of when it happened.  We are not part of the police, the courts or any other criminal justice agency.

Our highly trained staff and volunteers offer:

·                 someone to talk to in confidence

·                 information on court procedures

·                 help in dealing with other organisations

·                 information about compensation and insurance

If you want to speak to Victim Support directly, please contact the local Victim Support Office on 01429 221920 or 01429 855560

Alternatively you can call our Victim Care Unit on 0845 2770977 which is open 8am to 8pm (Monday to Fridays) and 10am to 2pm (Weekends).
