Educational awards and benefits - free school meals: Outline

Parents claiming some benefits can also claim free school meals for any of their children who are registered at a Hartlepool school and who would normally be at school at lunch time.

This is a Hartlepool Borough Council Scheme for Free School Meals for pupils attending school (aged 5-16) or for those (aged 16-19) who attend English Martyrs 6th Form College / Catcote or High Tunstall Schools.

School meals are a good way to make sure that your child eats well at lunchtime. By claiming free school meals you save yourself time and money. The more eligible parents who claim meals, the more funding the school receives.
