Residential care is provided by a range of independent care homes within Hartlepool and provides a safe environment for people who are no longer able to cope in their own homes. Residential care staff help to create friendly, homely and clean environments where people are treated with dignity and respect and can live in comfort. The Borough Council can provide an assessment of your needs and offers means tested financial assistance to people who are eligible to help pay for their care.
