Surety payments should be paid at the same time as release fees.

Payment should be made at the Civic Centre cash desk.

Prior to making the payment at the cash desk, you should visit our service desk to have your documentation verified.

Payments can be made either by cash or credit/debit card.  Cheques ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Please note, Hartlepool Borough Council is UNABLE to accept the following credit/debit cards:

  • American Express
  • Visa Electron
  • Solo
