Community transport services FAQs

Q: What is Community Transport?

Q: I am a wheelchair user; can I use the Community Transport facilities?

Q: How do I book a journey?

Q: What happens if I need a carer to accompany me on my journey?

Q: Can I use the service to get to the Hospital or Doctors?

Answer:
People can use our service to attend hospital and doctors appointments. However, please remember that we do not operate a private taxi service. Our service may not be suitable for hospital and doctor appointments, as we can not guarantee that a bus will be available to arrive in time for your appointment or to pick you up afterwards. Information on health related journeys is available from your local doctor or health centre.
