Q: Why am I still getting a paper ticket?
Although smart ticketing systems automatically register journeys made using passes, traditional tickets will continue to be issued for the time being until everyone gets used to the new ticketing systems. In the meantime, tickets will continue to be issued as a 'back-up' to prove that journeys have been recorded.
