Q: So Smart Ticketing will record trips using ENCTS passes, but what about everyone else?
Answer:
On buses it is proposed to introduce commercial multi-operator ticketing (which will enable the same pass to be used on any operator's service) as well as the current discount tickets that can mostly only be used one operator's buses. Other concessions like those for 16 to 19 year olds will also eventually be replaced by smart passes.
