Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What should be shown on the plans?
The plans submitted should be drawn in metric and to a suitable scale (1:50 or 1:100).
The plans should give sufficient information to indicate clearly the nature of your proposals and how they relate to the rest of the building.
This may include existing and proposed elevations, sections and plans. A full construction specification should also be provided confirming the design, type of materials and products being used throughout the construction.
For certain designs structural calculations and/or thermal calculations will also need to be submitted to support your plans.
