Q: Are there any rules about how high a tree/hedge can grow?
There is not a straightforward 'Yes' or 'No' answer to this question.
The Council does not have powers to adjudicate in disputes between neighbours about individual or deciduous (those which shed their leaves in winter) trees, only where there is a line of two or more evergreen or semi-evergreen trees or shrubs and only when all attempts at negotiation have failed.
