Celebrating Success 2007

On 6th July 2007, the Benefits Team won "Outstanding Customer Service" at the Hartlepool Borough Council's Celebrating Success Event, held at the Borough Hall.

This was a well sought after award. The category had the largest number of nominations.

We constantly strive to improve Customer Service and are delighted to have won this award.

Celebrating Success 2008

On 25th July 2008, the Benefits Team won 'Outstanding Customer Service' at the Hartlepool Borough Council's Celebrating Success Event, for the second year running.

"We are delighted to have won this award again. The dedication and hard work of the Benefits Team has been outstanding"

There was also an award for going the 'Extra Mile' and Benefits Liaison Officer, Tracey Rudd scooped this award, much to the delight of the Benefits Team.

Tracey said " Going the extra mile is about having a good team behind you. I am honoured to accept this award on behalf all my friends and colleagues from near and far who have helped me to achieve this award. Without you and your generosity, there would still be families and service users going without basic essentials"

These were not the only two awards for the Revenues and Benefits Team on the night and we also won the following;

Outstanding Customer Service, individual- Margaret Wrigglesworth, Community Engagement Officer

Efficiency/Value for Money Award- Internal Bailiff Team

Most Inspirational Manager- Paula Bass, Revenues Manager

Institute of Rating, Revenues and Valuation IRRV awards ceremony 3rd October 2008

The Revenues and Benefits Team have won the Excellence in Social Inclusion award.

Hartlepool fought off competition from much bigger short-listed authorities such as Glasgow to win the national award.
