Loving Cup - A George III Loving Cup silver-gilt urn-shaped presentation cup presented in 1818 by the Mayor at that time - the Earl of Darlington to the Ancient Borough of Hartlepool as a token of regard to the Corporation of Hartlepool.

Ancient Sergeant's Mace - Ancient Sergeant's Mace in silver, over an iron core measuring 13.5 inches long. Original two, which were carried before the Mayor in accordance with injunction in Elizabeth Charter of 1593. Bottom portion is illustrated in Sharp's History of Hartlepool (1816).

Corporation Mace (x2) - Corporation Maces in gilded copper measuring 3ft in length (would originally have had a white enamel surface). The head of the maces have on one side, within a circle of brass, the Royal Arms as now used with supporting motto. The maces bear no date or inscription but were presented by the Earl of Darlington, who was Mayor in 1818.

Mayor's Gavel - Ivory - with silver band engraved "Presented to the Mayor of Hartlepool by the Recorder, June 1897.

Ex Mayor's Medallion - is in the shape of a Maltese Cross and of silver-gilt. The circular centre is blue enamelled Hartlepool armorials and the motto on the reverse is inscribed "To the Corporation of Hartlepool, Coronation Year 1911, presented by Alderman John Roger Butterwick JP, for the use of ex-mayors in succession.

Alderman's Medallion - Used by Chairman 

Alderman's Medal (x 5) - in silver gilt, decorated blue enamel with the centre bearing replica in relief of the Borough Arms and motto, each inscribed on the reverse "Borough of Hartlepool. Presented to the Corporate by the Mayor, Councillor John Roger Butterwick upon the occasion of his Silver Wedding 1878-1903 for the use of the Aldermen in succession".

Old Corn Measure - is a copper and brass pan-shaped measure with circular bowl and pierced handle. May have been used as a Standard Measure for Corn when the Corporation controlled the old Corn Market.

Ancient Corporate Seal - made of brass and copper circular medallions are the only existing concrete links with King John's Charter. Each is embossed with the Hartlepool crest, St Hilda and Bishops.

Middleton Seal (2 pieces) - is in two halves, oval in shape, one in bronze the other in steel inscribed "The Seal of the Local Board of the Middleton in Stranton District". Middleton was founded by a Mr Middleton about 1766, according to Sir Cuthbert Sharp

Burial Board Set (2 pieces) - is in two halves, oval in shape and made of copper, embossed and engraved oil lamps inscribed "The Burial Board of the Township of Hartlepool in the County of Durham. Possible date of 1850.

Past Mayor's Badge (Dr William Scott Gibb)

A Mayor's Silver Wand of Office "Robert Martin, Mayor 1912"  - in the form of a crown with enamelled Hartlepool crest, inscribed 'West Hartlepool, Robert Martin, Mayor 1912'. The stem with two scroll mounts inscribed 'Out of the great affection I have for my native town and to commemorate the 25th anniversary of its incorporation I give this mace to be used by the Mayor for the time being forever. 13.5 inches long.

Pewter Vase - inscribed 'Presented by H Lightfoot Mayor 1932 - 1933, March 1935.

Silver Writing Set - inscribed inscribed "Presented by the Recorder of Hartlepool, Herbert Wright Bell Esq Oct 1934  

Freedom Scroll Casket - inscribed Presented to Alderman John Horsley JP Mayor of the Borough of Hartlepool upon the occasion of his receiving the Freedom of the Borough

Bombardment Collection - in Blue Case comprising Special Constable Medallion, Silver Shield and Silver HBC Seal 

An elaborate Medallion - Bearing the Inscription "Presented by William Gray first Mayor of the Borough of Hartlepool"
