CRB - Criminal Records Bureau

Due to their level of contact with children or vulnerable adults, some organisations may require their staff or volunteers to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check. For further information on the CRB process and the job roles that are eligible for a check visit www.direct.gov.uk

Can you carry out a CRB check for me?

Hartlepool Borough Council is registered with CRB as an 'umbrella body'. This means, that in addition to carrying out CRB checks for our own staff, we are able to complete CRB checks for other organisations / third parties.
