Sports Activities

Get Active

We offer a range of sporting activities across the town at Mill House Leisure Centre and Headland Sports Hall.

Swimming is available at Mill House Leisure Centre. We offer swimming lessons for both adult (application form) and junior (application form) swimmers.  Our Swim Hartlepool booklet gives advice for parents on swimming skills.

Our variety of programmes lets people get active in many different ways.

You could get involved in our walking programme led by a qualified instructor, take part in the women's begin 2 programme, including begin to run.

You could even come to our football sessions aimed at young people from 2 years old to 18 years old.

As regular exercise can benefit many common conditions we also have our Hartlepool Exercise for Life Programme (HELP) to help you ease into exercise and improve your health and well being.
