Fruit and Veg Bag Scheme
What's in a bag?
You will receive a mixed bag of fruit or vegetables or salad. Eggs may also be purchased from the scheme. The current cost of the bags is £2.80.
Residents can order as often as they wish to and there is no minimum order quantity.
The service offers exceptional value for money and plays a vital part in achieving a healthy balanced diet.
Vouchers issued through the Government's new Healthy Start Scheme can be used to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables. These can be redeemed at all of the fruit and veg bag schemes throughout the Borough.
