Your MoT
From 1st October 2007 vehicles undergoing MoT, that were registered after 1st September 2001 are required to display BS AU 145d marking and the name and post code of the registration plate supplier.
The BS AU 145d marking can be found at the bottom right-hand corner of your number plate, as you are facing it. The name and post code of the registration plate supplier will be in the bottom centre of the number plate.
The Vehicle Operating Standards Agency (VOSA) leaflet "Registration Plates and the MOT Test - Your Questions Answered" provides all details of the requirements of vehicle registration plates in relation to MoT testing.
Vehicle Workshop staff will be happy to provide any advice and will carry out MoTs for the members of the public upon appointment.
