The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has instructed local authorities to publish details of items of expenditure with a transaction value over £5000 including tenders and contracts.

The requirement applies to new contracts and tenders for the supply of goods and services from January 2011 onwards. In response to this, details of the Councils Contracts and Tenders can be accessed by following the link below:
