Bus and Rail Services
Hartlepool Borough Council is currently working in partnership with bus and rail operators to improve passenger transport by making it more accessible, convenient, safe, reliable, attractive and easy to understand and use.
This includes reducing delays to bus services, improving interchange between services, better and readily available travel information and providing waiting areas that are safe and secure. In rural areas, more innovative and flexible services are being developed that complement the commercial network and provide transport for those without access to a car.
