To apply for a new street name or numbering for a development or property please write to

The letter should also include plans showing the proposed new roads and buildings with/without the suggested names for the development. Subject to consultation with the Post Office and the Emergency Services, Hartlepool Borough Council will give final approval for the names and numbering of the development.
