Play Areas
About our play areas
Hartlepool Borough Council manages fifteen play areas and three skateboard parks within the town. These play areas are inspected on a daily basis by Council staff and they are inspected by an independent body annually.
The Council has a policy of developing and improving existing play areas before developing new ones. This has seen improvements in Clavering, King Oswy and Grayfields Play Areas in recent years.
