From 1st April 2013 Council Tax Benefit will be abolished and replaced by Local Council Tax Support (LCTS)
How much do you have to pay?
How is the council tax band worked out?
To determine the right band for your home they take into account the size, age, character and the locality of the property and information about what similar properties sold for on 1 April 1991
From that valuation your property is placed into one of eight valuation bands, A to H.

| A | Less than £40,000 |
| B | £40,001 to £52,000 |

| D | £68,001 to £88,000 |
