Following the completion of an inquiry a Final Report is produced by the Forum and submitted to the Executive (Cabinet / Council / Portfolio Holder). Upon approval of the recommendations contained within the Final Report, the Executive produce an Action Plan explaining how recommendations will be delivered or explaining any decision to reject recommendations.

Annual Reports

The Annual Report outlines the work of the Authority's Overview and Scrutiny function over the municipal year and highlights reviews, successes and proposals for the coming year to enable the continous improvment of scrutiny in Hartlepool and encourage resident participation. Progress Reports

Scrutiny Co-ordinating Committee and the five standing Scrutiny Forums receive Monitoring Reports twice a year of all scrutiny investigations since 2005 and the progress made by relevant Departments, this information can be accessed here (last update July 2011).
