Secondary Transfer

For children born between 1st September 2000 and 31st August 2001.

At the beginning of September 2011 the Admissions Team will visit all mainstream primary schools within the Borough of Hartlepool to talk to Year 6 pupils about moving up to secondary school. During the visit Secondary School Application Packs will be given to all pupils in Year 6. If your child is absent, or doesn't attend a mainstream school, you will receive their pack by post.

Parents should list three schools on the form including any schools not located in Hartlepool.

Applications can be made on-line or if parents/carers would prefer to complete a paper application form (known as a CAF1), these are available from your child's primary school or the Admissions Team. All applications must be received by the Admissions Team by 31st October 2011. Any applications received after this deadline will be considered as late applications.
