About Connexions

Connexions Hartlepool is a free, impartial and confidential, information, advice and guidance service for young people aged 13-19 years (in certain cases up to age 25 years). Connexions can also help parents/carers to support their children to make good life choices.

What support is available?

Personal Advisers can support young people with Careers, Jobs, Future Help, Health, Money, their Personal Life, Training, Education and having a Positive Future. 

Guidance is about helping young people to make their own decisions about their future. A Personal Adviser will not tell young people what to do, but will help and support young people to decide for themselves.

How do I access this support?

Requests can be made to Connexions by a variety of methods including:

• directly from young people to their Personal Adviser
• from parents or carers
• Common Assessment Framework forms (CAFs) completed by Connexions Coordinators in schools, colleges or training providers
• from our partner agencies
