Leisure Centre Surveys
The Sports and Recreation Section of the Adult & Community Services Department have carried out customer satisfaction surveys at its sports and leisure centres since 1999.
The survey is carried out via face to face interviews with users at Hartlepool's leisure centres, including Mill House Leisure Centre, the Headland Sports Hall, Brierton Community Sports Centre and up until 2006 Eldon Grove leisure centre.
The users are selected at random by the interviewers as they are entering and leaving the centre, and children under the age of 14 are excluded from the survey on ethical grounds. The interviewers conduct the survey at various times throughout the designated period taking into account times of classes and other busy periods within the centres.
