Petroleum Filling Stations

Following the introduction of the Petroleum (Consolidation) Regulations 2014 the petroleum licence is being replaced with a petroleum storage certificate (PSC). A PSC is granted once we are satisfied with the storage arrangements at a particular premises.

Once issued, the PSC will remain valid until a prescribed material change occurs at the premises or petrol is no longer stored for a specified period. More information about the petroleum certification system and your new responsibilities are provided in the information sheet.
