About the Forward Plan

The law requires the local authority to publish in advance, a programme of its work in the coming four months including key decisions.

Key decisions are those which significantly modify the agreed annual budget of the Council or its main framework of policies, those which initiate new spending proposals in excess of £100,000 and those which can be judged to have a significant impact on communities within the Borough. These are defined and explained in Article 13 'Decision Making' in the Constitution.
