Workplace Regulations
The Workplace Regulations apply to a very wide range of workplaces, including factories, shops, warehouses, hotels and places of entertainment. The regulations detail provisions required in the workplace.
Such requirements include:

The need to maintain the workplace in good condition';

The need for effective and suitable ventilation;

The need for reasonable temperature in the workplace (e.g. normally at least 16 degrees Celsius);

The need to keep the workplace clean and to have suitable and sufficient lighting;

The need for floors and traffic routes to be sound;
-
The need to ensure that the workplace is organised so that vehicles and pedestrians can circulate safely, etc.
