The team provides an overall Responsive & Planned Maintenance Service including a Management Service to the 6 administration buildings. The team consists of skilled technical managers and trade persons. Both planned and operational needs of property directly influences the ability of Hartlepool Borough Council to deliver its services.

The Building Maintenance and Management Team is comprised of around 40 technical and skilled trades persons. All aspects of general building, mechanical and electrical work can be undertaken.

This team is available for and provides a day to day responsive, planned and Cyclical (servicing) service to all council property.

The team provides a 24 hour 7 day a week emergency call out service accessed out of normal office hours through the Richard Court Control Centre telephone 01429 869424.

The team also undertake projects of significant size which have been the subject of competition with the private sector and projects which result from strategic Partnering with 2 external providers.

Nominated Technical Managers are available covering specific geographical areas of property with skilled client based and trades specific officers also available.
