Welcome to Hartlepool Borough Libraries Online Resources
We subscribe to a number of online resources and databases which you can access from this web page. These resources have been specially selected for their accuracy and currency and cover many topics to help you with your research.
To access the online resources you will need your library borrower number, which you will find on your library card. If you are not yet a member of Hartlepool Libraries, or have lost your card, contact us.
If your library borrower number contains any letters, please substitute with a zero (O). Older library cards (starting with 9) will need to be replaced (contact us).
These resources and databases are available for personal use only. Remote access to any location that is considered to be a business or institution will be terminated.
Due to licensing restrictions, Ancestry.com and Find My Past can only be accessed from PCs within Hartlepool Libraries. All other online resources can be accessed via the internet from any location with your library card.
