Computer and Internet Access

IT and computer access at the Library Free computer and internet access is available in this library.
(Please note, computers are automatically shut-down 15 minutes before closing time.)

Access to the computers in all libraries is initially for 1 hour per person per day. This may be extended up to a maximum of 3 hours per day, at the discretion of the staff. This time-limit does not apply to access to the Internet via our Wi-Fi service, which is unlimited.

Central Library also has FREE Wi-Fi access.

Access your emails and the Internet with this FREE service in Hartlepool Central Library if you have your own laptop, tablet or smartphone.

You do not need to be a member of the library to use the Wi-Fi, although you will need to register to use the service.

Events and Activities

An exhibition area is available for use by individuals and community groups (contact the library for terms and conditions). There is also a large Community room available for hire. Please contact us on 01429 272905 to find out how to book the room and availability.
