Landlord Accreditation Scheme
From April 2012 Hartlepool Borough Council have moved its services forward, we now have a Landlord/Tenant function within the Housing Service.
The voluntary landlord accreditation scheme has been transferred to the Landlord/Tenant function, within the Housing Options Centre, and is currently under review.
An evaluation will now take place to determine whether the aims and objectives of the existing scheme can continue to be achieved. Consideration will also be given to alternative options available to us for the future of the service, looking at benchmarking with other schemes operating around the country or schemes provided by other organisations.
As a key stakeholder in the town your views are important to us and we would welcome your valuable contribution towards the evaluation process, which will help us to develop a strategy for the future of Accreditation in the town.
We will update this site with the outcome of our review once it has been completed and details of how the scheme will be delivered will be published.
