Moving on to Secondary School 2014
Secondary Admissions for 2014
For children born between 1st September 2002 and 31st August 2003.
At the beginning of September 2013 the Admissions Team will visit all mainstream primary schools within the Borough of Hartlepool to talk to Year 6 pupils about moving up to secondary school. During the visit, application letters will be given to all pupils in Year 6. If your child is absent, or doesn't attend a mainstream school, you will receive their letter by post.
Applications can be made on-line or if parents/carers would prefer to complete a paper application form (known as a CAF1), these are available from your child's primary school or the Admissions Team. All applications must be received by the Admissions Team by 31st October 2013. Any applications received after this deadline will be considered as late applications.
Please send any additional documentation (i.e. baptism certificates) to the School Admissions Team (address below) by the closing date.
The document below contains useful information regarding the secondary school application process. Please read the booklet carefully before applying.
If you require any further information, please contact the Admissions Team on 01429 523768 or email AdmissionsTeam@hartlepool.gov.uk.
Documents are in Adobe® PDF for you to download/print.
To secure your child's place at secondary school, you must submit your application by 31st October 2013. If your application is received after this deadline, we will treat it as late and deal with it after the applications which were received on time.
