Hartlepool currently faces many major challenges such as improving the towns appearance, providing warm affordable housing and delivering education and training services that enables residents to obtain satisfying future employment. However, in achieving these goals we need to ensure that our environment is both protected and enhanced. We must learn from the mistakes of previous generations which has left us with the legacy of both local and global environment problems
