Right to Reply and Appeals Procedure
A right to reply is available on the Scores on the Doors website. This allows the food business operator to tell people about improvements that they have made following their last inspection. All comments will only be uploaded to the website following approval by the Council.
Where a food business believes that an inspection has resulted in an unfair rating of the hygiene standards, an appeal can be made in writing. This will be given careful consideration. If the food business operator is still unhappy with the final decision, they may access the existing Corporate Complaints process.
