Published alongside the third draft was a Sustainability Appraisal that assesses the extent to which economic, environmental and social considerations have been integrated in the Strategy's preparation. 

The consultation document can be viewed here. A final Sustainability Appraisal will published alonside the final Community Strategy in summer 08.

A report that set out the scope and detail of Sustainability Appraisal that would be carried out on the Community Strategy was consulted on last year. You can view a copy of the updated scoping report here.
