The Council keeps levels of dog bin provision under review but cannot always respond to individual requests.

If the proposed site is on a highway, it is unlikely we will be able to provide a dog bin.

If it is in a park or open space, we will check the site to assess the need and add the request to our list for new dog bins.

Because of the high cost of disposal of the contents of dog bins we do try to encourage people to take the dog litter home with them, wrap it up well and dispose in their own dustbin.

If you would like to request a dog waste bin or would like to report an existing bin that is damaged or full, please complete our online form.
