Supporting People
Supporting People is a national programme delivered by local authorities which is committed to providing a better quality of life for vulnerable people to live more independently. The programme provides housing related support to help vulnerable people establish and successfuly maintain their own home.
The following groups of people are eligible for Supporting People:
- People with learning disabilities.
- People with mental health problems.
- Vulnerable young people.
- Homeless people.
- Older people who need support.
- People with physical disabilities.
- People at risk of offending.
- People with drug or alcohol problems.
- People escaping domestic violence.
