Summerhill Country Park

Summerhill is a 100-acre country park and Local Nature Reserve in Hartlepool. It’s open every day and offers:

  • walking and cycling trails
  • a boulder park - one of the largest in Europe
  • a BMX track
  • archery, orienteering and nature activities
  • a visitor centre with café and toilets
  • free parking and mobility scooter hire

The park runs bookable activities for schools, families and groups throughout the year.

Visitor centre opening hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 9am to 5pm
  • Friday: 9am to 4:30pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: Closed
  • Bank Holiday: Closed

Daisy & Beas Café opening hours

Located in Summerhill Vistor Centre

  • Monday to Friday: 10am to 3pm
  • Saturday: 10am to 2pm
  • Sunday: 10am to 2.30pm
