About the Middlegate Room
The Middlegate Room is Hartlepool register office’s main ceremony room, located on the first floor of the Borough Hall, at the heart of the historic Headland.
It features:
large windows with views over Hartlepool Bay
seating for up to 34 guests (no standing room)
nearby photo locations: tea gardens, Town Wall, and the beach
fully accessible via lift from the Borough Hall atrium
Seating
Babies and small children under the age of 3 may sit on a parent or guardian’s lap and do not need to have a seat allocated to them.
