The Children’s Hub is a partnership between us and:
- Cleveland Police
- Harbour
- North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust
- Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust
- Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust
Who can contact the Children’s Hub?
You should contact the Children’s Hub if:
- you are concerned about a child’s safety or welfare
- you think a child might need extra help or support
- you want to discuss whether your own child might benefit from support
- yourchild has a disability or additional needs and may need an assessment
How we use information
When you contact the Children’s Hub:
- our partner organisations may share information to help decide what support or protection a child may need
- all information is handled securely and in line with the Data Protection Act 1998
- unless there is a concern about harm, parental consent is required before any further action is taken
What happens next?
The Children’s Hub may:
- take no further action
- refer the child to another agency for specific support
- refer the child for an early help assessment
- refer the child to Children’s Social Care for a social care assessment
