Our digital collection gives you 24 hour access to thousands of eBooks and eAudiobooks, as well as eMagazines and eNewspapers. It's available to all library members for free.  

BorrowBox

With BorrowBox you can: 

  • borrow up to four eBooks, five eAudiobooks, four eMagazines or eNews (digital newspapers) for three weeks (titles are returned automatically at the end of your loan period) 

  • renew your eBook or eAudiobook twice - you will be reminded to do this 

  • reserve the title and you will receive it on the date that the item is due to be returned. You may even receive the item earlier if it is returned before the due date 

  • access back copies of your favourite magazine titles

uLibrary

With uLibrary you can:  

  • borrow up to eight eAudiobooks for three weeks (titles are returned automatically at the end of your loan period) 
  • listen to eAudiobooks instantly from your phone or tablet with the uLibrary app or visit uLibrary - Hartlepool Borough libraries
  • Don’t forget to check out this month’s Book club picks – these don’t affect your number of available loans! 

With a great selection of titles, from “sleep with the lights on” thrillers to sweeping family sagas you’ll be sure to find something to enjoy.
