Biography / Background
Maxine is a retired international award-winning development practitioner.   She joined the NHS at Hartlepool General Hospital, in 1982 and worked until 2015 in various local, regional, and national NHS roles. She is passionate about people, local activism and how people, organisations and groups can work together.  During the final 11 years of her career, she ran her own boutique consulting company focusing on development of healthy organisational cultures and working with professionals in difficulty.
Reason for Involvement
Maxine has undertaken various voluntary civic leadership roles since leaving the NHS in 2015. She led the development of the town wide Love Hartlepool Campaign and is currently active in several projects across the town.  Her passion is to give something back to the town she loves and to ensure that the voices of citizens are heard and valued.
